Brooklyn Botanic Garden Restaurant

Brooklyn Botanic Garden Restaurant

Yellow Magnolia Café is a restaurant that offers modern, vegetable-focused cuisine in a one-of-a-kind setting nestled within Brooklyn Botanic Garden's iconic landscape. Named after the remarkable flower developed by Brooklyn Botanic Garden in 1971, Yellow Magnolia Café is a celebration of its urban garden setting. Designed by David Rockwell, the bright and airy café is built within a renovated greenhouse overlooking the Garden's Lily Pool Terrace.

All cuisine is crafted with seasonal ingredients sourced from local farms and purveyors—an ethos in keeping with the Garden’s longstanding interest in sustainable practices—and menus inspired by Brooklyn's artisanal food movement. Most of the menu is vegetable-focused, with select meat and fish options available, as well as healthy children's menu items, vegan, and gluten-free selections.

Admission to Brooklyn Botanic Garden is required to dine at Yellow Magnolia Café.
